Hello, I do apologize we aren't able to customize canes in that way, this is just the way they are manufactured unfortunately.
why can't they make you a cane like this one shorter in length and still have a ferrule tip (at his cost) Italian Import: Silver 925r Embossed Fritz Handle Cane
pretty expensive cane and you can't have it shorten and keep the original ferrule tip
