Does the outer shaft of the cane need to be removed before using the stun gun? is the outer shaft metal ? Zap Cane: Hidden Style Stun Gun & LED Flashlight, Rechargeable

Could not tell from the black and white pictures, does the outer shaft deliver the jolt or is it delivered from the end / tip of the cane? Does the assailant need to be touched with the side of the cane?

Hello, this is the "Covert" zap cane, similar to a sword cane, the stun gun is hidden in the shaft. However we do carry another zap cane where the stun gun is visible.
