How can I add a date on a Custom Cane Engraving

I would like to add a date to the Custom Cane Engraving.
When I try to add the date as example 6/20/2021 or 6-20-2021 it won't let me insert a / or -

Yes we can do dates on our engravings. I apologize for the confusion, as people were trying to insert emoji's so we turned off the ability to insert any symbols. If you want to give us a call at (877) 890-7677 and we would be happy to make sure it has the correct symbols for you!
